Your lactation visit may be covered by insurance!

• Aetna: I am an in-network provider for most Aetna plans. A credit card will be required to confirm your appointment, and will only be charged if your insurance determines that you are responsible for co-pays or other share of cost.
• Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Cigna, and Multiplan: you may be eligible for a consultation with me at no out-of-pocket cost through The Lactation Network. If you have BCBS, Cigna, or Multiplan, click here to see if you qualify. It is helpful if you text me to let me know you've submitted the form with TLN, as I don't receive your submission until after they've confirmed your insurance.
• Tricare: I am in-network with Tricare and can serve Tricare Prime and Select members with no out-of-pocket cost. Home visits are not available with Tricare, and you may choose to meet with me virtually or at my Rockville home office.
• United Healthcare: I am in-network with most UHC Commercial plans. A credit card will be required to confirm your appointment, and will only be charged if your insurance determines that you are responsible for co-pays or other share of cost. Visits must be in-person, not virtual.
• All other insurance plans: payment must be made in full at the time of booking, and I will provide a coded receipt for you to submit to your insurance for reimbursement.

Before requesting a home visit, check my map. There are travel fees for home visits in some areas. Travel fees are not covered by insurance. If you live slightly beyond the green zone, a home visit may still be possible with an additional fee—please contact me to check availability and fees for your area.

If your situation is urgent and you don't see an opening soon enough, please text me to inquire about cancellations or last-minute openings. You may also want to check all three appointment formats below, as schedules differ.
